QUAKER KIDS
art direction | retouching|artwork | colour work | 3D visual
This work done for Quaker Kids posed a few challenges for retouching and also printing. From the final design signed off we knew that getting the movement into the shot was going to be tricky. I worked with the photographer art directing the shoot from a technical point of view to make sure that we were getting the shots we needed to be able to retouch the milk splashes coming out of the bowl.
From the photography we knew that the cereal animals were not going to translate well when blown up on pack. I created 3D renders of the animals that we could move around and get the angle we wanted. When the artwork was created due to printing restrictions a method of overprinting spot colours was used to extend available colours. The 3D visuals you see here were then created.
